Hele kjernen i kristendommen er selvsagt Jesus Kristus, denne snekkeren (?) fra Nasaret som også skal ha vært den jordiske sønnen til Universets Allmektige Skaper. Men hva om Jesus aldri eksisterte? Hva om hele historien om Jesus bare er ren og skjær myotologi?
Dokumentaren «The God Who Wasn’t There» av Brian Flemming tar for seg dette temaet på en utrolig fengende måte og viser at svært mye taler for at den bibelske figuren Jesus Kristus neppe har et historisk fundament. Intervjuene med bl.a. Sam Harris, Robert M Price, Alan Dundes og Richard Carrier er i seg selv god nok grunn til å se filmen.

Jeg kjøpte selv dokumentaren på DVD for lenge siden, men ser at den nå ligger ute på YouTube i sin helhet. På DVDen finnes en time med ekstramateriale, bl.a. utvidede intervjuer, så den anbefales på det sterkeste. Sett av en time til å se denne dokumentaren!
